Health & Safety

USP is constantly seeking to ensure that all employees of the company are provided with safe and healthy working conditions. The nature of our business is such that we frequently work alongside other contractors and we are equally committed to ensuring that no activities carried out will compromise the health and safety of those contractors or ourselves. Many of our contracts involve the provision of equipment to events that are attended by members of the public. It is the policy of the company to meet or exceed all applicable safety standards, which ensure the safety of all attendees.

USP take a positive attitude to the health, safety and welfare of employees, sub-contractors, clientele and the public. Our policy is to provide and maintain:

- A safe and healthy working environment
- Appropriate and well-maintained equipment
- Annual Portable Appliance Test Certificates for all equipment
- Annual Public and Employers Liability Insurance
- Systems that, so far as is reasonably practical, avoid the need for manual handling which involves a risk of injury
- Company Health & Safety Policy
- Method Statements for specific tasks
- Risk Assesments for specific tasks
